Who We Are

Love Patterns is a relationship self-assessment service operated from the Republic of Croatia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@lovepatterns.co.

What We Collect

When you use our service, we collect:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Age range, gender, and relationship status
  • Your answers to the 64-question quiz

How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes, each with its legal basis under GDPR:

  • Process your quiz and generate your report — contract performance
  • Process your payment — contract performance
  • Deliver your report via email — contract performance

AI Processing

We use an AI content generation service to create your personalized report based on your quiz answers. Your answers are processed by this service solely to generate your report. No fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe directly collects your card details — we never see or store your card number. Stripe may collect additional data (IP address, browser info) for fraud prevention.

Service Providers

We share data with the following categories of service providers, only as needed to operate our service:

  • Payment processor (Stripe) — to process payments securely
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — to host the website and store data securely
  • Email delivery service — to send purchase confirmations and deliver reports
  • AI content generation service — to generate personalized report content
  • Error tracking service — to detect and fix bugs (production only, no personal data collected)

We do not sell your data.

International Data Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework) are in place.

Data Retention

Quiz data and reports are retained to enable support and re-delivery. Payment records are retained as required by tax law. To request deletion of your data, email support@lovepatterns.co.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis
  • Lodge a complaint with AZOP (Croatian Data Protection Agency)

Cookies

We use essential cookies only (Stripe fraud prevention). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
